Titans Forever, Book 1: Part of the team.

CHAPTER 1
                  Through the Looking Glass

     "Princess Hachiko!"
     My name had been called..I walked to the doors of the Great Hall and the door opened with the push of my finger. I walked across the room as everyone bowed. I'm not that special am I? being 9 is so confusing..In a few years i am going to be queen. Yay? I sat at my throne and watched as the commoners filled my altar with presents. My mother told me I was special. I had powers. I was the first royal that had these special element moving powers. But only commoners have the power to do this..that's why they do the work. tells you something about the queen, huh? I watched as presents were placed around my feet and while the commoners walked away with a mean look. Romors have been going around about the thing called a revolution. Being only 9 I have no idea what that is and mother said to just push it to the side. so I did. I was dismissed to my room after an hour of being worshiped and my presets followed my as I skipped along through the halls of my wonderful palace.
    I sat down on my bed when I reached my room and started tearing up my beautiful wraping paper from their little boxes. same thing as every year. Only things the commoners could afford. Then, once again, a preset from the wizard. I carefully unwrapped the beautifley packege present and held a note in my hand.
    "Your becomeing older my princess. Every women needs a mirror. ~Edward"
    I looked into the box and grabed the mirror. it was a beautiful white with a blue jewel on the top and surroding the edges. I looked into hoping something would happen because the wizard always gets me something magical. but sadly, nothing happened.
    "I wish something in my life was exciting.." I was not aloud to leave the castle because of my secrete so i stayed and wondered the halls day after day. I looked over to the oppsite side of the room and looked out the window. the breeze came through and hit my face as i sighed. I look back at my mirror and suprisingly it was glowing! I looked inside it and a landscape i've never seen before was inside it. There was a monster looking thing that made me fringe.
    "ew.." i said to myself. Then, it exploded. I squinted at my mirror hoping the monster would not make its way though the glass. The wizard likes playing jokes like that. The mirror suddenly switched its view to show a team of 5 people standing in the distance. That was the first time I saw the Teen Titans.
